Premier Hairdressing Academy is a Private Training Establishment based in Auckland, Napier and Wellington. We specialise in providing training in hairdressing while gaining life skills, self esteem and confidence. All our academies are very much “hands-on hairdressing” and tutors believe in positive reinforcement as well as responsibility.

Training is at the highest level with students gaining nationally recognized qualifications that are approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. Our tutors are highly qualified, they love what they do, they love the “fashion and funk” that hairdressing stands for and are passionate about sharing their skills.

A greater focus on literacy, numeracy and language levels in our programme supports the Government focus and increases our students success. We pathway students to work experience in hairdressing salons and this often leads to employment. Our courses include many skills in addition to hairdressing, such as reception, retailing, selling, and many of these skills are transportable to other industries.

Our goal is to set the benchmark in the provision of quality education and training. Taking the time to ensure such quality outcomes and standards are constantly being met leads to the professional recognition obtained by the institute and its graduates.
